Michelle Williams
Having done a degree in Equine Business Management, Michelle has always wanted to work with horses but ended up being a Chartered Accountant for nearly 20 years. Having recently achieved her Equine Facilitated Practitioner Diploma, she is now hoping that Forging Futures will enable her to fulfill her dream. Inspired by her daughter Freya and ably assisted with the ponies by her daughter Erin, it really is a family affair.

Huxley
Huxley is currently one of youngest members of our herd. He came to us in March 2023, with his brother Corka, straight from Dartmoor where he was born. Like many children, Huxley does try to be good but sometimes he can’t help but be cheeky. He is often found taking the hose out of the water troughs or going through the grooming cupboard in the hope of treats!

Corka
Corka is Huxley’s big brother. At 2 1/2 years old he is by no means old, but is definitely the head of the herd. He and Huxley will often be found playing, a bit roughly at times, just like any brothers but it is obvious they care for eachother deeply. Corka’s other name is Houdini as he seems able to find his way out of any field when the mood takes him.
-
Lupin
‘Little Lupin’ as she is affectionately known is currently the only girl in our herd. She is the youngest and the smallest but don’t think that means that she lets the boys have their own way. She has a wonderful calm but assertive way of making sure they all know her rightful place in the herd. She has a very wise head on young shoulders.

Dundee
Dundee is the oldest and biggest in the herd but his docile nature means he is very happy to follow the herd leader, Corka. He is also the only one to be ridden by myself and my daughter Erin. He has a wonderful, honest nature but does find the ‘grown up’ stuff tricky at times and sometimes needs to take a minute to get his head round what we are asking of him. But then again, don’t we all at times!
